Terri Favro & Ron Edding

Born and raised in St. Catharines, Ontario, Terri Favro is the author of The Proxy Bride (Quattro Books), which received the Ken Klonsky-Quatto Books Novella Award in 2012. She is also co-creator with artist Ron Edding of the Bella graphic novel series, including Bella and the Loyalist Heroine and Waiting for Mario Puzo, published by Grey Borders Books. Terri's fiction and non-fiction have been published in literary magazines and anthologies in Canada and the U.K. In 2013, she was shortlisted for the CBC Canada Writes Literary Prize in Creative Non-Fiction. She lives in Toronto and blogs at terrifavro.ca

Ron Edding was born in Montreal and educated at Dawson College, Concordia University and the University of Western Ontario. He is co-creator of the Bella graphic novel series, including Bella and the Loyalist Heroine and Waiting for Mario Puzo, published by Grey Borders Books. Ron has exhibited artwork and presented performances in Canada, England, Chile, Serbia and Mexico. Along with a lifelong individual art practice, Ron has always had strong collaborative relationships with other artists and writers. For over a decade, Ron has been involved, at a variety of levels, in Toronto's lively world of artist-run culture. He lives, draws and teaches in Toronto.
